Our company Held Technologie GmbH in mid-2006 set up isobaric high pressure laminate press line in Trossingen.<\/p>\n<p>Westag&#8217;s Laminates \/ Fixtures department director Edmund Volmer \u201cAs a result of our detailed research in all press technologies already existed, we were sure that by changing from our storey press to the new continuous press, there wouldn\u2019t be a change in our proven quality in the market.\u201d He says. \u201cWe needed minimum 70 bar isobaric surface pressure from the new continuous press, so that we could achieve the highest quality standards for our products. Held showed us a giant press with 80bar pressure which was continuously working since 2002. New line has 1.55m width and 30m (90 ft\/min) per minute speed. This would open up new market segments for Westag &amp; Getalit. This is the the first goal for us at a time when the market weakens. In order to achieve that, Westag &amp; Getalit has invested \u20ac 11m($ 14m) in 2005.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>SILKE \u2013 Isobaric High Performance Press &#8211; Latest Generation<\/h2>\n<p>40 years ago Held produced the first isobarik continuous press. With non-stop working and dedication the company kept on adding new milestones to isobaric press technology.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2002 the world&#8217;s largest and most powerful isobaric Double Pulley Press was delivered to an Italian manufacturer for the production of decorative laminates. This again was a demonstration of the technological leadership of Held.<\/p>\n<p>With the maximum surface pressure of 80 bar the new high-performance press produces CPL and HPL with the highest quality standards. Completely closed, static pressure system (5.20 mx 2.30 m) with a speed of 48m per minute ensures the highest level of cost savings.. Dual-purpose heating and cooling gives also the possibility to produce gloss laminate.
